SUMMER SCHOLARSHIP EVENT SUCCESS
It was a hot summer’s night reminiscent of India. And it was a success.
On June 22, LIFT raised more than $32,000 to provide scholarships for underserved children of southern Tamil Nadu. Fr. Sebastian, one of the four LIFT founders, came from Canada to meet Chicago supporters and thank them for their energy and interest in the children from his home state in India. Other special guests from India, including Bishop Jude from Tamil Nadu, also journeyed to Chicago to meet face-to-face with LIFT friends.
